The music definitely gave that tone of "What the heck is happening" which fits the game well haha. There definitely needs to be some camera work done though. I really couldn't tell if I was running on my head sometimes. I've not worked with 3D cameras at all unfortunately, so I don't really have any feedback to give you besides, why not just lock the players camera to their head? That way, when the bean rotates, the camera rotates with it? I don' think it was really necessary to force to camera to face the enemy. Having to look away from where you're going to look at what you're running from is part of the fun of chases and I think it's a bit of a missed opportunity. I did give you full marks for creativity though, this one is definitely out there as one of the most interesting/unique games I played during this jam.
TYSM! I tried to attach the camera to the head but with how I was control movement it was just forcing the camera to look forward constantly, and I didnt have enough time to figure it out... I knew it was going to be a bit probelmatic but I really appreciate the Input I might have to give it some TLC after the Jam!
Oh my, I don't usually get vertigo from FPS but this one was wiiiild. It'll be interesting to see where you go with this! Cheers :D
Yeah i was worried about the motion sickness especially with the jitter sorry!
Not a problem! Wouldn't say I got motion sickness. More like it was pretty disorienting. Maybe zoom out a little and make the sphere bigger so the player can see a bit further ahead, or drop into 3rd person so you can see where you are in space. I think there's actually an interesting game there with the ball of death motorcycle things I remember from the 80s!
I enjoyed the concept and beat the game, but the screen shook quite a bit... Other than that it was fun!
