I suppose this is supposed to be like a compact Risk of Rain. As a play experience it was pretty solid, with sufficient juice to make the action feel nice and progression feel solid. However, I was really confused as to what my objective was. "Survive" only gets you so far when there's so much else that you need to discover. With a more focused design and a clear goal I could see this being a real time-sucker.

Developer

Yeah the objective is kind of rushed right now: it's to survive the 500 enemies once you approach the "drift point" (aka teleporter) but that's only because I couldn't make a stage boss in time during the jam. Thanks a lot for the feedback <3

Interesting

A lot of potential

like it :D

Cool take on the loop idea by incorporating a card mechanic! I think this could be expanded well with some deckbuilder elements that both allows the player to tune their deck to the current area, but still provide randomness to require them to think on their feet.

Love the vibes of this game! The idea of needing to cycle through each weapon one-by-one makes it quite fun.

This is rad! The artwork looks amazing, great music and sound effects as well, and the loop mechanic is pretty cool too. I just think that 500 enemies might be a little excessive haha

Developer

Thanks so much~

Ye ahah the 500 enemies is quite too much, I wanted to do 3x stages but I ran out of time and had to close the project before the deadline.
