- I love this concept!! Flipping this genre of game on its head with you being the creepy stalker trying to avoid being caught while trying to find out what she likes is great stuff. I Especially liked the intro cutscene as the art was great! To be honest though, the game falls a bit flat on execution. First of all, getting caught really means nothing other than a potential jumpscare because there are no checks to see if you even went into the house to check the items before sending the message. So you can just run around looking for the keywords in as many loops as you need before just standing outside and sending the message, which really removes the tension from actually getting caught as there is seemingly no consequence to it. Using the heavy metal to act as an alert for where the streamer is and as a tension builder is a good idea, but because it plays in a spherical radius seemingly unimpeded by walls, it really just adds confusion to where she is, as she could be on the second floor streaming when I am on the first and it sounds like she is right next to me so I mostly just started ignoring it. Also, the streamer moves WAY too fast to be something to face, instead of trying to dodge or hide her, whenever she was offstream I just ran outside and waited for her to start again instead of trying to hide. Finally, your GDD is very bare-bones and does not contain much of the information we would want to see, like your inspiration, your development goals and milestones, mechanical breakdowns etc. To round out though I want to encourage you, this IS a great concept and you should absolutely be proud of it. I can absolutely see the vision you were going for and I congratulate you on the creativity. I can absolutely see this winning a jam if it was given more time and polish and playtesting. Thank you for submitting, I genuinely hope to see what you do in the future!

Summarize your game!
A stealthy horror-esque game, where an obsessed fan of a streamer must make a streamer fall in love with them. Their weapon - sending a superchat. As they can only afford one, its content better be perfect. To ensure this, our superfan stalks the streamer and sneaks into their house to find out everything the streamer likes. Solve puzzles and win her heart.
Please explain how your game fits the theme.
She is the only one he needs... and he'll get her with only one superchat.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
The game was made in its entirety during a 4-day cottage jam!

I don't know how you made a horror game where you play the bad guy and it's still so tense and makes you on edge the whole time but you did it. I was a little uncomfortable with the plot of the game based on the description, but your execution was very good. Something that stood out is how you used 3D sound to attach the metal music to the streamer, which really increases the tension when trying to move around the house. There were only two characters (I think, I wasn't able to finish it), but the game was able to convey character for both, and you even had a plot twist. One thing I would maybe add is some more indication of progress. You've got a checklist, but the items don't check off after you find things in the house, so I wasn't sure if I was actually making progress or if I needed to do something else. Overall, very good entry, though the plot concept might be a bit much for some players. Not uncommon for horror games (and not uncommon to play the bad guy in a horror game), but still.
Streamed my review live on twitch
Fun, and very unique concept, for a jam game. I found it to be a lot of fun running around and finding her favorite things. It'd be cool to have some randomization so that each run I am re-incentivized to go find the keywords, rather than remembering between runs

Thanks for playing and for your feedback, much appreciated! Randomization would've surely driven this even further into "Only one" theme.
Ps. you wondered what engine the game was made in - it is made using Unreal Engine! And as the modern Unreal doesn't support web, we used a 6 year old version 4.23, which presented its own fun little quirks! :D
Got a score of 100 and she bit her thumb at me. 666/666
Thanks for playing!! :)
