This is a lovely little puzzle game that I'd be happy to play more levels of. The poem at the start explaining that you have to eventually loop back to the beginning was clever and fun. Little bit of game-dev-to-game-dev feedback:

  1. As the goal is to minimize the number of moves to get back to the start, I'd like to see a personal best, a star rating, or a "dev's best" number to compare my score to, as well as a way to easily restart/replay a level.
  2. Others have mentioned it would be nice to see which junctions will lead through which pipes before you arrive. I agree. Though, if you leaned more into replaying levels for lower scores, that initial exploration and discovery could be nice as you are rewarded for learning the level.
  3. I'd love if my input was queued just a bit. There were many times I'd press a key just as I arrived at a junction only for it to be ignored because I wasn't quite there yet.

Overall, solid submission.  I'm happy to have played it.

I like the pleasant aesthetics and music. I think with the gameplay theres a good amount of potential here, but theres some hidden information here that I'm a bit confused about. I'm not sure why sometimes I can backtrack, but other times I cant. Like I can go down a dead end and return, but I cant walk one step away from the goal and then return.

Great interpretation of the theme! I really like your choice of sound effects, they're very satisfying.

As others have noted, it would be good to see the one-way paths ahead of time. I also wanted to add that it would be nice to have an easy way to replay each level, since the goal is to minimize the number of moves.

Cool game! :D

I really enjoyed the simple mechanics and you introduced the new ones in a good pace.

My only critique is that you can't see the available directions  before hand. Otherwise a really good game! :D

This was a fun little puzzle game! I enjoyed the poem at the beginning too. My main critique would be to have some kind of indicator before you get to an intersection showing which way you can go, because I'd often get somewhere and discover I can't go in the direction I want to

By the way, thanks for playing my game!

If you dont mind, please consider rating my game as well :)

Neat Game! I think it'd be cool to see the lowest number of turns a puzzle can be solved in and allow players to restart a level to try to reach that target
