the base concept looks cool! there's something about the aesthetic that can also be iterated upon (like background props and such)! work on some extra levels and you're set!
Thank you! Yeah, I agree, the background does look a bit empty
beautiful looking game. i like the mechanic that makes you have a limited amount of movements per direction. lotsa potential!
Thank you :D
I like the Monument Valley vibes. I didn't realize that I could flip the environment with the Space bar until my second go at the game hehe. Really like the concept, I would love to play more challenging levels :)
Thanks! I will definitely make more good levels if I choose to continue this project :)
Very nice artstyle! I would have really liked more level. I felt I just got started and then it was done. Anyway the game is very polished and feels nice. Good job!
Thanks! Unfortunately, I did run out of time to make more
I wish there were more levels! There’s a lot of potential here for interesting puzzle design, and the game felt like it was just ramping up. I understand that’s tricky in a game jam, though.
I liked the visuals as well, they’re very Monument Valley. The geometry-based puzzles remind me a bit of those games, too. One critique is that the controls are assigned a bit weirdly - W moves you forwards from the characters’ perspectives, which makes sense, but that happens to be much closer to right/left from the player’s perspective. I died several times because of this. I also found it a bit tedious swapping back and forth constantly to compare tiles, but that’s mostly just a consequence of the main mechanic.
Overall, a nice mini puzzle game. Well done!
Thank you! :) Yeah I agree about the controls, looking back it wouldn’t hurt to add an option to remap them
Really nice concept, I believe the idea is very solid. It would have been great to try more levels, but given the limited time available, it’s completely understandable.
Thank you for your feedback, yeah the time greatly limited the amount of levels
Wow. That is the quickest game i have played this jam :D. But cool concept and visuals!
Thank you :)
really fun take on the loop theme, would have loved to see more levels.
Thank you very much, yeah I ran out of time
