Interesting idea. I'm curious to see how this could be developed into a full game. I have to ask though: was it intentional that the tides and the path become invisible if you draw them? I suppose that would be where the challenge comes from.
Yep exactly, this was the intentionnal idea! It could totally be developped into a full games, I had a lot of ideas I wasn’t able to put into the game (like different maps, abilities, runners, story, etc) and other people also gave me ideas in the comments section. This is a tiny prototype of something that could become a much larger thing!

Love the idea! The orca gets hilariously wild at times, it needs a bit polishing. But I’d totally be up for more content!
We already know cats have their zoomies, maybe orcas too lol

Good idea, but sometimes the physics don't work well.
Yep, had a bit of struggle with the colisions that I didn’t achieve to fix. Sometimes it makes the game a bit (a lot) easier when your whale just glitch straight to the end 🤭

I can't seem to draw anything ( using Firefox on Linux). I get around 0.2 sec, to draw the migration path. No matter , how many times I click retry.
Oh no, that’s so sad :( I also use firefox (on windows tho), but I don’t know why it happened.
Needs more content. Interesting concept, but feels like a proof of concept. More islands! More Animals! More currents!
Music is exactly as I envisioned an Orca Commute Playlist would sound like.
It really makes me happy that you loved the concept ! It was inspired by a boardgame names Loony Quest. You’re right, there is plenty of room for new ideas, concepts, maps and even multiplayer ! Maybe one day I’ll challenge myself to design that ! Hope you had fun playing it !
The orca gets stuck on the peninsula at the bottom but I was able to abuse this and teleport it into the goal
