Was difficult to play. Would liked the circle to be a bit bigger so you could have more time to react on the looping projectiles. Also enemies that shoot out of screen killed me the most. Interesting concept to play with and could probably me a mechanic in the vampire/survivor games

The magic barrier makes for a really interesting core idea with a ton of potential that I feel is hampered by the level design and enemy placement. There's nothing that encourages the player to take advantage of looping their projectiles around nor any reason to avoid doing so, at least that's how it feels when the looped projectiles don't just get eaten by walls. It seems like it might have been better suited to a vampire-survivors style open arena rather than a confined dungeon space.
Perhaps looped projectiles could deal more damage, even exponentially gaining that damage over and over making it both rewarding to hit something with a looping projectile and riskier to maintain.
Yeah, I agree in the game there is nothing that encourage to use looping mechanics for player advantage.
I tried to make enemies hard to confront directly and encourage use of "loop" to shoot through walls but I didn't have time to balance this correctly. (and as result made this game too hard)
Thank you for your suggestions. If I will revisit this idea, I will keep them in mind
This is one of those games that is super hard to pick up but once you get it right, it's gooooood. I thought it was going to be a survivor like at first but was pleasently surprised. There's a very similiar ability to this in Binding of Isaac and it's always blast to use. It would be cool to see what else you could do with this. Like maybe enemies that can only be hit in the back? Very cool either way!
Very hard. Not sure if all those magic orbs came from me through the portal, but it was able to make me think a little bit harder then just spam shooting in this type of game. Nice music!
Very interesting concept! I feel like this could have gone a bit farther. Instead of losing HP maybe the circle gets smaller each time and I can use other things to upgrade it? Bigger bullets will hit enemies easier but also me? It also took me some time to find where the shards were, so maybe a mini-map or something similar could be great here. The first five times I just died with zero shards.
Awesome take on the loop theme, enjoyable and fun. I feel like this mechanic has huge potential!
Really neat take on the loop! I really like the vibe.
I would like a bigger range of vision. My best score was when I stopped shooting entirely 😂
This was fun! It took me a little to understand the mechanics at first, I had no idea where the bullets were coming from lol but once I got it it turned into an original and fun bullet hell. Good job!
I thought the game was broken for a second because I didn't find any crystals until I realized there was an indicator for where the crystal was.
It's very hard. Some of those enemies go full bullet hell on you and there's not much you can do about it. The best score I got was 3.
the concept of the looping bullets is very cool but it is VERY hard, with enemies spawning at a very high rate and the bullets quickly overwhelming the screen the highest score i managed to get was 5.
overall pretty fun but maybe could have the difficulty start lower and ramp up with every gem.
Cool concept, a bit difficult, but nice indeed. My high score was like 6, really difficult though, I would appreciate it if you could play and rate mine :)
Damn this game really showed me that I'm getting older.
Loved it, had fun but damn it is hard
Felt a little rough when I first started but when the game clicked it hooked me, I kept wanting to jump straight back in for another go. The sound effects of killing the enemies and picking up the crystals was so satisfying.
The little indicator which pointed to the next crystal really help solidfy the whole thing, since it gave each run a sense of direction.
I also liked the detail that the bullets were universal, the ones you fired could hurt you, but also cause enemies to hurt each other. It really felt like a level playing field.
I really enjoyed this!
