How does your game fit the theme?
We are on a looping highway in a high-speed police chase! Tap real fast to escape! Inspired by good old Slot car toys :) If you find the game too hard, combine W + space to get a speed boost!

Fun little game! A bit difficult to manage the controls but it was very cute.

Submitted

I only managed if I pressed all the possible movement keys at once, but I love games where you have to go fast!

Wasnt able to run it

Trying to run the windows version has the game being extremely slow (even though its only taking maximum 3% of my computer resources). Graphics settings didnt seem to change the game or the lag at all. After that tried to get in on mobile and received an error of "There was a problem while parsing the package"

oh damn, sorry for wasting your time, unreal engine does crap like this from time to time : (

Quite an exhilarating ride! I encountered a few UI issues in which some text was overlapping at the end, but aside from that, I had a fun time!

Thank you for playing!

Fun running game. I found that you can move much faster than normal by tapping both w and spacebar, and the game ends really quickly from outrunning them. I did try to play it legitimately, and it can be fairly challenging but fun. Other than that, I love the aesthetics of the level. Wonderful job! :)

Exploiter! 😂 Thanks for playing!

Love it, very cool theme interpretation! I found myself wanting to go for a speedrun, weaving through the obstacles at high speeds is a blast. Only thing I'd say for improvement is to just add more content, maybe differently shaped tracks, a bigger variety of obstacles, powerups, or different cars to choose from? Could be a fantastic arcade game with a lot of depth. Super solid overall!!

Developer

glad u liked it! thank i noted your suggestions for future versions :D

glad you guys enjoyed my game! it was a blast watching you play it 🔥

It's a small game but it most definitely loops 😄 I liked the look of it, this minimalist+neon style. Pigs status: outran

thaaank u! i much enjoyed your game too!

Very cool to see a mobile game here. I played on my phone, and its alright! I found it a bit easy to outrun the police by tapping with two fingers rapidly. Dodging stuff while at high speed was a nice mechanic, but I do wish there was more depth to the game play. Like someone else said, maybe even another track would have been good.

wooo finally someone mentioned my mobile ver :D yeah its meant to be that way! Im glad to hear! Sadly this is all the time i had, but i got something else cooking, will work on it ; )  (spoiler, its pvp lol)

It was fun once I got going but took a while to warm up these old bones into tapping fast enough. I think it would benefit from an indicator of which lane you're currently in because I was looking far ahead on the track to see where I'd need to be, then having to look back to remember where I was to make the swap.

Developer

yo hold up thats a brilliant idea :O i can set up a lane highlight, that sounds great for curvy maps! thank u for that and thx for trying my game!

Really cool game! The sfxs and music work well and I love the visuals. Would've been really cool if there were multiple tracks you could choose from, but that might be out of scope for a jam. Feels really satisfying getting up to top speed though and genuinely really enjoyed it! Great job!

Developer

more updates on the way! thank you for testing my first game 😁😁😁

Makes me remember old console days where you had to buttonmash like crazy.....but as soon as you gain some speed it plays very slick and it is fun to switch lanes on high speed. Outran the cops!

Very cool, LOOPY Chase!

I love the slot car idea, fits the theme perfectly! Well executed overall and very enjoyable despite the simplicity. Great work

very cool art style i love it looks very slick

Apparently I'm very good at pressing space. Driving fast while dodging obstacles is fun and I like you you can control your speed by tapping slower to avoid obstacles easier.
