How does your game fit the theme?
The game uses looping mechanics that take you back in your moves and also looping clones but the main thing is that<Spoilers ahead><spoilers ahead><spoilers ahead> you actually loop through previous gmtk game jam themes to find the key to succes and hapiness <spoilers end>

Those are really great sokoban mechanics! I like how the level-design let you explore the emergent possibilities given by these tools, especially the combination of powers. However it quickly gets difficult, and I must admit I wasn't able to complete all levels. I enjoyed the presentation though, pretty clean, and with dices that escaped from GMTK 2022! (I suspect there might be other references, I should restart it to spot them :p)
Also, small nitpick about the controls: Alt+R can be used by other programs on the OS. :P I had a window opening each time I restarted a level (a friction that probably affected my motivation for solving them). I'd generally advice not to use the "Alt" key in a game, it's often used for low-level operations. Just "R' to restart have been as much convenient!
My sleep deprived brain thought that "R" for restart might be too easy to missclick so I added ALT without thinking that even my graphics card software uses it xd
Thanks for playing. Yea there are more references to past themes:
Anchor, Rewind and Clone Recorder are referencing 2025
There is a level where a clone has to be used to unlock the "main character" which is supposed to reference 2023's Roles Reversed
Dice reference 2022 of course
Clone that does your moves but in opposite way is referencing 2021's "Joined Together"
The platforms where you have to leave a control (W,A,S or D) are a reference to 2020's Out of Control and actually it is a mechanic re-used from my entry for that Jam which was my first GMTK Game Jam ever, so that has its own meta-loop meaning.
I didn't get to implement a scale mechanic that I had in mind but run out of time that would reference 2024's Built to Scale
There are also colour references, so the Dice are in the Colour of GMTK Game Jam logo from that year, the room where you first leave your controls is in the colours of 2020 etc.
Well designed puzzles, especially rewinding the player after some moves. I had several "aha" moments that were a lot of fun. great work man ^^
I love the art style and the game play is very solid. Had to think for a minute. I think I'll come back to this one if you add more!
I kinda was confused by the order of the switches. I think the lights showed which ones could be press but I often got a lost.
Any other mechanics you wanted to implement but didn't get too?
I wanted to add more story, like actual narration of what is going on in the game but that had to be cut so I have the text at the begining and cutscene at the end only
I wanted the dice blocks to roll at some point but that lost me couple hours and I wish I dropped it earlier
And I wanted to make a "scale" puzzle, which I probably could've done if I didn't waste time on the dice blocks, as the game uses themes from GMTK 2020 - 2025 but a reference to "built to scale" is not fully realized.
Thank you for playing, and as for the switches, there are crystals on them that show if the switch is active or not, the crystals you carry are also shown in the bottom left corner of the screen.
A very interesting puzzle game. I'll echo the other folks who say the ramp hits high at level 3, but I did appreciate how well everything is presented early so none of the mechanics are mysterious before you have to go about using them. I think my one bit of a suggestion is it should be a bit easier to tell when a panel is activate-able versus when its dead, since that's central to the puzzle solving. The sounds and visuals are tops! Thanks for sharing :D
True. To be honest I was making the colours of the panels at the very end of the jam and for some reason I thought that making the crystals almost the same colour as the "body" of it was a good idea... xd
Thanks for playing :)
Yeah I imagined this was a 'dont have time to do it' instead of a design choice. No worries - thanks again for the awesome feedback this year! :D
Puzzle games are really hard to design on such a tight deadline, but this one is really great! Level 3 is tough but being able to interact with multiple rewind tiles at once is a really nice mechanic! The movement reminded me of a board game and its really charming.
My one piece of feedback is the bass in the music might be too much. I typically play with headphones and had to turn the volume down immediately but that didn't stop my enjoyment of the game. Awesome job!
Thanks for playing!
I checked your profile because I was sure I played something from you before (indeed I did, the gmtk2023 TD game) and I saw that your previous game is called "Loop and Loaded" xD. At first I thought you double submitted, which would be crazy, but I see that it is a coincidence ^^
Haha yeah! A lot of us did the Boss Rush jam at the beginning of the year and that jam's theme was spinning! You've got a really good memory!
Hey that was good! : ) A unique take, I liked having to go around and watch my steps to collect those battery like items or keys
Neat puzzle game with depth and ramping difficulty! Visuals and mood are for sure a solid selling point, I loved it!
A fun puzzle game with thought and polished puzzles to have fun with. Great visual and game, gj :D
Thanks :)
fun mechanics and puzzle, enjoyed solving them! very crips graphics as well!
A lot of neat looping mechanics here with some in depth solving requirements. Level 3 is a big difficulty spike, but it felt fantastic to figure it out.
Hey,
thanks for playing. I am so sorry about level 3 but I am also super glad that you felt the "A-ha!" moment when discovering the solution. My sleep deprived brain messed up the level balance :c.
Game looks and plays super fun! Love the little loop mechanics. I think I either got soft locked or just completely stumped on the level pictured. Love the style!

Hey, thanks for playing.
This level is sadly my bad, it is way too hard this early into the game. Basically the idea here is that you Anchor yourself with the 25 steps one and just as it is going to run out you need to Anchor yourself with the 2 steps one. By the screenshot it looks like you did everything correct but forgot to anchor yourself to the 25 step one a second time to get back to the start (and exit).
Once again, thanks for playing the game!
THESE VISUALS ARE SICKKKK
Thank you!
The difficulty ramped up alarmingly fast! Glad I stuck it through to the end for the punchline.
Yea, sorry for the difficulty spike! Thanks for playing and getting through it :)
cute ending!
Thanks for playing :)
