Description
Song written for the Weekly Note Composition Jam #27, with the theme "Dark Forest." The idea is that the song would be the theme a forest of mischievous spirits who play tricks on adventurers passing through. Made in BandLab.

nice, it has some pixel rpg vibes, good for spooky forest or a sacred place in the trees

I really like the instrumentation and composition, though I felt the tempo was a bit quick for the vibe you established and the bird noises were a bit excessive (would've preferred if they were decrescendoed or removed as the plucked string instrument came in).

Love the percussion in this one.  I think more mature sounds would some more gravity to this track.  Great job!

Nice composition, simple but effective, and the instrument choices work nicely for the forest vibe. I could see myself exploring a forest area in an RPG, so nice job 🙂 Mix wise I think the birdsong/ambience could be sat back a bit, maybe prominent for the opening bars and then let it fade into the background a bit, but I can accept it as the in-game FX track 😄 And the pad I feel could also drop back a little bit. My only compositional note really is that the middle section where that sequence of 8th notes drops out could have maybe continued it in a different voicing and more subtly, to keep the 8th note feel going? But what you did is fine ✌️
