Love the idea and animation/sound effects, feels like a very polished game! maybe add some kind of penalty for spamming the scroll wheel

Developer

Hi hi, glad you enjoy the game!

Yeah, spamming the scroll wheel is currently too strong comparing to any other strategy. Adding some penalty might be a good direction to experiment with.

Thanks for playing!

Very, very, very cool and unique gameplay
The art is also great
It's just too difficult for me, looking forward to adjusting the difficult
Like it :D

Developer

Thanks for playing and the feedback!

We'll definitely tune the difficulty after voting lol.

This is such a fun twist on the theme!!! The controls are kinda hard, but once you get it its so satisfying!!!

This was a cool idea on the theme! I think the projectiles might have been a little too fast or something though. It felt really hard to not get hit.

Thanks for playing!

Yeah, our artist complaints about it being too hard as well lol, plus the hitbox of the character might be too big. We're thinking about tunning it and hopefully can provide a better experience.

Thanks again for the feedback!

this game looks so frickin good, holy moly. one of the best looking ones ive played :D i love the main mechanic too, but i think it needs some more explanation + incentive to not just scroll wheel as fast as possible. would love a post jam update on this, i would def come back to try it out again :)

Thanks for playing and the great feedback!

I 100% agree with what you said about more explanation and incentive, and we have a few thoughts for it.

We'll experiment them more after voting is done.

Thanks again!

Very creative approach to the Loop theme but even know I dont think I fully understood the mechanics of the game.

Thank you for playing!

We really did poor job introducing all of the features especially how to trigger abilities. Hopefully we will address these soon once the Jam is over.

Your icon is so cute lol!

It took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out that I didn't have to always move in a clockwise direction, and even so I am still incredibly bad, but I think that's all user error lol

The concept is really fun, and the sound and visuals are very effective and satisfying!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for playing!!

We barely put all things together last minutes, so we didn't have much time polishing the tutorial other than rotating clockwise lol. It's 100% my fault.

And yes, the difficulty curve needs better tunning. Although we put in an health-restore ability to "balance" it. It's still not easy to perform while deflecting those attack lol.

Anyway, hope you had fun and thanks again!

Ooooh, this one is tough. Concept is really great and the art style is awesome. Animations are silky. Sounds are spot on as well.

Now the tough part. My optimal play strategy became just scrolling the mouse wheel as fast as I can (think Neji defensive shell from Naruto). I survived longer doing that than actually trying to play correctly. Perhaps it needs a stamina bar to balance it?

Developer

Hi hi! Thank you so much for playing and the valuable feedback.

The stamina is an interesting direction we could try out. We were thinking about adding different types of danger that requires more precise defense and tune the rhythms and angle of incoming attack. This is for sure one of the vital issues we'd like to address in future.

Thanks again for playing our game!
