- Cool game! I think the choice of music is a little odd; while it makes me think the wizard is a little eccentric and weird in a funny way, it still doesn't really go with the scene in my opinion. The GDD gives a little insight into the lore and the spells used, but I would've liked to see straight up what your inspiration was, what the developing process looked like and what your idea of the theme was. You mention casually that you can use the spells once, but I would've preferred more information on your thoughts there. I ran out of spells by the time I hit the boss and didn't get any new ones. Even when restarting, my deck was empty, meaning the game was really over. I don't know if that was a bug or intentional, but then why include a "start over" button? Your game is still fun and I like the art style generally, but running out of cards was a bit of a bummer. Maybe include a short tutorial that also warns the player to spend their cards carefully. I had to "waste" a few "invincible" cards because at one point I had only those and "teleport" which didn't help me much and I needed more attack. If this was intentional, ok, but maybe look into the balancing again :) Overall though, good entry,. well done! Thank you for participating and I hope you all had fun and learned a few things about game development. Looking forward to your next project!
