How does your game fit the theme?
I made an incremental game like cookie clicker by using a game of snake where you eat your own tail to get bonus points.

I liked how you combined idle mechanics with classic snake. I can definitely see potential for more features or expansions, but given the 4-day timeframe, it felt like a well balanced and fair submission. Great job overall!
Wow this one is defenetly different, the sounds effects are pretty catchy and I like the concept. Well done!
This is a bizarre mix of themes and genres that somehow comes together quite nicely. Adding the interactivity and replayability of a snake game to a cookie clicker type economy and end goal is pretty brilliant actually. It ensures that you don't lose the player at any point, and also combines idle and time waster games into a single package that can be played without focusing or for something to unwind to. It's also a wonderfully absurdist concept that a game of snake is responsible for shaping reality as we know it, which is the kinda absurdity that I'm always seated for. Great work!
Hey we came up with similar ideas! I like the endless runs mixed with incremental upgrades that yours has. Embracing and building on the retro/flash game aesthetic of the original is also a smart choice that I haven't seen any other snake game in the jam do. Great work!
Dope! I wish there was some sort of death animation when you went off the sides, I thought my game was just frozen at first. Came from your tiktok about combining this to some sort of story? I really wonder how that's turning out cause this was a super cool concept.
I was so convinced that WASD should work that I almost thought the game was frozen before i could start! Especially with Z to reset, I was almost dead half of the time by the time I got my hand back over to the arrow keys from Z when I started another round! The game seems to run great though, so good work!
cycle scores updates on death, i would feel better if it instantly updated, also 100 for hamster wheel too much
I want more games like this so badly. Idle games with the "number go up" and satisfaction of simple progress with more to do with them than just clicking the same button over and over again. It's not a type of game I see too often which sucks, I always get bored of idle games when I just have to sit there and wait for the number to increase on its own without anything for me to do. This idle-game minigame combination also really softens the frustration of losing a good run in snake because of the reward in currency you get.
Sound effects are good. I don’t see how the idle and snake aspects connect though.
