I really enjoyed the parkour gameplay. Especially with the double jump and dash upgrades. The game also looks and sounds really nice.

Fighting the enemies was a bit tedious and at some point while I was playing I realized I could just ignore most enemies because I would just regenerate all of my health faster than they could damage me. But then the combat section where you’re old happened, and there the combat felt nice, since I actually had to dodge enemy attacks and my attacks also hit harder which felt like a nice powerspike.

Yeah, we agree that combat for the young and mid sections of the game needs to be rebalanced, but we are glad to hear how much the old combat section was. We wanted to have each of the three age phases have a different feel to them, and we were worried when planning the game that the old section could be boring as the player loses access to the Jumps and dash.

Thanks for playing, and we appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback!

Really enjoyed the visuals including the art, trails, menu, and characters, Music was lovely to listen to as well as the sound effects. Animations are clean looking. I enjoy the young-mid-young system. Locking some of the mechanics make certain scenarios quite challenging, Shooting, jumping, and dashing works well. when they would be easy if all mechanics were unlocked. Midlife Crisis fits the theme extremely well.

I think the health regenerates too quick. It's quite confusing where to go once you reach the dash section (figure 1). Some upward hill terrain has weird collision (figure 2). Found a bug when holding S and moving in this section (figure 3).

An extra animation for falling would be a nice touch. Adding particles to the projectiles would remove the placeholder feeling of the asset.

Overall, great work!

Yes, the health regeneration was something we didn't have time to balance, as we played it safe and overdid it to reduce player frustration and maintain the game's pace.

The other points you made will be noted for implementation after the game Jam voting is done, as there are some updates we already have waiting.

Thanks for playing, and we appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback.
