How does your game fit the theme?
Vinylity is a rythm game that never ends. There are multiple tracks that LOOP and the game gets harder and harder, because you will need to play multiple tracks at once.

Really enjoyed this one! Loved the music and the way each layer built up as you went around- I could just about do the three layers but not four! Super cool and had a blast playing! :)

The music got a little repetitive eventually... But the rest was great! I love your art! I had a lot of fun playing this. Shame that it has so few ratings )`: Good luck to you, you done good!

Also I'd appreciate feedback on my submission if you get a chance!

Hey! Great game! :D I'm so mad I didn't take a screenshot, but getting to manage rythm on four different fingers really felt awesome and HARD xDDD Somehow triggered the same part of my brain when I tried to desync my hands on the piano for the first time xD

Awesome overall, with a simple idea that is well executed, I loved it!

Maybe one last thing! I think the rythm game idea on a vinyl would suffice to be elligible on the "loop" theme? And the looping music part with infinite music feels a bit less exciting after 54 rounds, especially when you're back on one track after crying on 4-tracks parts xD
Maybe a game with tracks that end, that you can tryhard again and again would make for a more replayable experience, even if less "loop-y", and overall a more enjoyable game!

Anyway, still was amazing, thank you for making it! :D

Thank you a lot for the feedback and the kind words. Adding more tracks would definetly be fun.  :D

Really cool conept and i really like the artstyle, my only complaint is that I didnt personally like the keys picked as I found myself constantly forgetting where f j k are, would have been better with WASD, but that's just me

I felt like I was playing a piano when I got up to the point where I had to press three keys simultaneously :D A super chill game with a nice tune. Good job!

I got up to 9843! Loved the vibey tunes! It got crazy once I had three keys going at once, but I wish it got there sooner, as the difficulty ramps up very slowly.

This is really cool! I dig the vibe, and the spinning record was a clever take on the theme!

This is one of my favourite games i've tested yet! I love rhythm games, but in too many of them you just play the melody. As a drummer, im always looking for ones that better match the vibe than that. You guys did a really good job of it here - i love that we get to play multiple parts at once, and the game does a good job of introducing it. The artwork is lovely too - i especially like the UI design <3. I had issues with audio sync, but it was partly just my laptop speakers i think as it was much better when i put headphones on. Was still a bit off but like, ive played released games with worse haha. It would be better with more songs but hey, its a game jam, maybe if you keep working on  it :3

Thanks a lot :)

Adding more songs would definitely be fun, maybe we could add some more after the jam is over

Great work, guys! I really enjoyed playing this for a while. The art style is great, and I love how the menu is implemented.

The initial part (around 9 loops), when you only play a single track at a time, is a bit too long and gets boring until it ends. Then, when multiple tracks are introduced, it is fun for a few minutes until the soundtracks get too repetitive.
