one of the best games in the jam👏

That was a fun little game I do wish there was a bit more variety to parts so I had more chance to fail or maybe if the days went by quicker

Love the idea. Graphics look nice, the music is great. Might be fun to have the game on at all times so you need to multitask.

i was hoping someone would do a 'monotonous loop of daily work' kind of game!!! i love games that force u to multitask like this and this was really fun :D the little click sound effects are so satisfying and the pixel art is really polished too!!

Cool and interesting idea to combine two games into one and it works perfectly. Very polished art style. Love that my hand controls become worse when I get tired.
I cannot find the suitable upgrades and am fired on Day 3. I don't even realize that I can still work while playing before reading the comments. That's so realistic.
When you grab parts before conveyor belt stops, the part will leave your hand when conveyor belt stops and still moves with your hand.

Developer

Yes, I’m aware of that bug already (it’s listed under Known issues). Did you earn enough money on the previous days to buy good upgrades for Day 3? You shouldn’t really need much for it.

The music and art are super good, and working while using the game thing is a cool challenge. If you want criticism, the mouse felt like it had a speed cap sometimes which felt pretty weird, and as other said it's kinda long, (I quit after day 2) but if you update it I'd love to play it again!

Developer

The speed cap is on purpose; the hand moves slower the lower your energy is which makes you work less efficiently.

The art and music are really great! However I kind of felt that I had experienced the whole game after just one day. Some more variation, coupled with shorter days, would really improve it!

Developer

The new mechanics introduced in Levels 2, 4, and 5 introduce that variation, but the 4-minute days seems to quite hinder players from that unfortunately.

big fan of the presentation! and I see we were both inspired by flappy bird :) I agree with the others about long days - and a bit more  of an assembly challenge would have been welcomed. but the vibe is great. Nice work!

The work does get more challenging with the new mechanics introduced in Days 2 and 4 (though obviously most players don’t get that far…) as well as the increased speed/quota in later days. And I did want to include more piece types but I did not have enough time. Appreciate the feedback!

Loved the game. The artwork is awesome!

Great game! I really like how the mouse movement is drowsy when you lose energy. The presentation is right up my alley, the music is fantastic, and the overall concept of the game really hits the spot. I really enjoy how you can still combine parts even while playing (as long as they don't spawn too much to the left). :D

A wonderful entry.

And please fix that missing period in one of the Boss's lines.

Developer(+1)

You can still combine parts even when theyre on the left because the outline shows through; you just have to move your hand around to find them (this mechanic is used during the outages in Day 4 and up). And yes, I will fix that missing period.

Oh, thanks for the info! I guess I missed that effect.
