This is a great game, I love the mechanic. The balls want to break you, but you need to help the balls get the coins. Excellent first game jam entry!

- Really cool concept! Really fun gameplay, the last level was fairly challenging, there was a good hidden story there, too! The simple style helps players pick up the game fairly quickly. A few things to note: It could be an improvement to add some BG music. If you want to stick to the arcade theme, some chip tune could work really well. Music sets the theme of the entire game and ties it all together, a simple addition could improve an already interesting experience quite a bit. Suggestion for the future: Include more enemy types, perhaps, instead of them all being slowed down or sped up, a variety of slow and fast or more bouncy could help make the game more challenging and open the game for more levels by playing on the "Only let the certain enemies touch the power-ups" idea. All in all, really well made game! Thanks for making this and keep making cool things!

Summarize your game!
You control the last brick in a brick breaker style game. Just move the mouse to move the brick. Lead the balls to powerups to progress, but avoid being broken.
Please explain how your game fits the theme.
The theme is "Only One", and this reminded me of playing Breakout and Brick Breaker style games where it always gets difficult when you're down to the last brick in the stage. There's only one brick, but it's always the most difficult to break. I wanted to try an interesting twist where you are that last brick, just trying to survive against a player out to get you.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
I'm particularly happy with how the mouse movement controls turned out. The balls in the level seem a bit bouncy, but that was intentional: the balls need to follow you to increase the difficulty, but without the bounciness it felt less like a reference to breakout and more like a generic "avoid the enemies" style game. It was surprising to me that the bounciness and semi-randomness actually increased the difficulty, which I felt improved the fun given how short the game is. I hope I struck the right balance!
