If you have implemented the modifier, how have you done so?

I also loved the sheep and it was fun clearing out the Glooey
Pretty cute :) I love the sheep.
It's a shame this game wasn't finished because I thought this was a solid base for more!
This game actually already addresses some issues I've had with top-down hack and slash type games before. Namely that you aim and move separately, which makes it feel a lot better. And the sword has a fairly wide radius which makes fighting groups feel good, plus the attack pushing the slimes back helped. And the bow was neat with its wind up time and animation, I also liked again that you can fire in any direction instead of just cardinal directions.
It doesn't really feel SBIG yet beyond the NPC dialogue, the invincible sheep and it just looking like a stereotypical RPG, but there's something to it at least.
I hope you keep up with game dev because I could see this games combat system being fun with a wider variety of enemies and attacks! Good work finishing what you did!
I will definitely move this project forward, I need to refine my dialogue system but I was very pleased with the combat I created. :)
Well, this game has been put together pretty competently, and was rather enjoyable. Good job!
There isn’t much else I can say which hasn’t already been said, but I do see the potential in your combat system here (although the bow isn’t particularly fun to use)
this is a simple project, I will definitely take it further. as for the bow, it will have improvements as the player progresses
I like this game's artstyle and vibe. The sound design is also solid.
Shame that you couldn't finish it because I think this game has potential to be interesting. Seeing that you're seemingly a beginner, I can tell you for a fact that the more experience you get, the quicker you'll be able to make a working game. I noticed you've attended 3 game jams in a single month, which is actually a fantastic path to take when learning game dev. I've followed you just in case you'll keep it up!
I really didn’t expect so many good comments, I ended up not finishing the game because I got sick during the process, besides doing everything alone, thank you.
This game has fantastic presentation and polish, especially for a SBIG entry. But, it is obviously unfinished so I can only rate it so high.
thank you veeeeery much, I got sick during the development and unfortunately there were many problems with the game maker and I couldn't develop the rest of the enemies, just so you know, I wanted to make a village and a boss to finish, unfortunately it wasn't possible but I loved every second of this jam
Cool little game! The mechanics feel really good! (Maybe *too* good!) and the visuals are lovely.
The teleporting worked a bit counterintuitively to me. Since you were using the mouse to aim, I generally found myself wanting to fight and then teleport backwards, which would have meant a constant wriggling of the mouse (though if this is intentional, that's a brilliant mechanic! 😅).
Having some slightly more idea of where the game actually ends for now would have been good, but overall I enjoyed what I played!
Damn that sheep is strong.
I thought about making something kind of like Stardew Valley, which didn't really fit because Stardew Valley doesn't have direct combat for most of the game, making it difficult after all. Maybe I'll fix that in a future update. (i expect a top 15)
the ship has 9999 hp and dont give xp, I wanted to create peaceful animals to populate, but besides not having enough time, I copied the code from the slimes and put it on the sheep. Besides not wanting the player to gain XP from an enemy that doesn't attack, I also didn't want the sheep to die (she is so cute).
