More than any other entry I've read, I think this story really would have benefited from a two thousand word limit! I thought the groundwork for your main character was excellent and made me empathise with him (not an easy feat for a character who is just a skeleton). It left me wanting to read more.
The ossified undead are one of my all-time favorite factions. I love seeing some representation for them!
Unfortunately, I think the great character work did get in the way of the story. Most of the plot happens in the last third, which definitely impacts the flow and leaves the theme feeling a bit tacked on.
Still really enjoyed it, though.
What a charismatic array of undead thieves!
I liked it!
10/10 super story and cool mc
Although I'm new here I know gold when I see one!
I enjoyed the main character. I'd like to read more about him and the setting.
Loved the ending! I think the story could have done with a little less exposition in the beginning to make room for more action - it's difficult to fit everything in a thousand words. Still, I'm intrigued by the character and his journey.
Cool concept, I liked the representation of the characters, and definitely wanted a bit more of this story. There were a few typos and clunky wordings that would have been picked up in another round of editing. Keep up the creative writing, and good luck!

The main character really came through clear in the story. Well done. The pacing suffered due to the combination of word count limit and your writing style, though. It feels like you would have a lot more fun with a long form story.
You made me go read the Ossified Undead lore, and now I will have to print and paint another army. Thanks for that. From what I now know of their lore, you did a great job.
Nice! I like it. Satisfying.
The story was a little slow in the middle for its word count but I like it overall. I think it could have done without the last line or maybe a remix that doesn't spell the theme-tie in out so blatantly but it was a fun little adventure.
