How does your game fit the theme?
I fit the theme through a respawn mechanic and a short story given through text in game.

It’s hard to read the text when gameplay requires precise movements from you. I would describe gameplay as a bullet hell, but without bullets. The only thing I can say is I felt that hitboxes were a bit unfair, but I’m not sure about this.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Your right, when it came down to the hitboxes there was a bit more I could have done, Shrinking the hit box or fixing the animations on the vertical movements definitely could have helped. Thanks again for taking the time to play and rate my first game!

Pretty fun! Might be the highest quality box death animation I've ever seen

Developer

Thank you! I spent way too much time on that thing lol, probably took me about an hour and a half. It was really fun though and I love that someone liked it enough to comment!

Nice game! I was a little lost on the narrative, and for the longer sentences it was a bit difficult to glance at the sentence, then the player, move to reveal the rest of the sentence, repeat. Maybe floating text bound to the screen borders?

Developer

Thanks! The narrative was kind of vague at some points, and thanks for the floating text suggestion! I have no idea how to do that but I can learn. Thanks for taking the time to play my little game!
