Fun story, I would have liked to know a little bit more about our main character. And maybe it's just me but "Kow" doesn't strike me as a good action work, it just makes me think of cows. That's all nitpicking though, you managed to pack a lot of tension and flavour into a very short story and I certainly enjoyed it start to finish!
Great job! One of the best for sure!
EXTREMELY high praise. I'm so thankful for this comment. It really turned around a slump I'm currently in.
Great job! One of the best for sure!

Really effective work spent on describing the environment and characters; visualizing this story was almost involuntary on my part because of how evocative your language is.
I like the setting. Well done.
I enjoyed this story a lot. I could really feel the panic your mc was met with initially after being shot. Great story.
I could visualise the setting of this story better than any other I've read so far. The character motivation was solid and you wove the theme in well at the end. Nice job!
Wow, the comment is overwhelming in the best ways possible. Thank you so much for the kind words. Really excited to read your story as well!
Great story telling. Scene was set well and the pace of the action was measured, building to a nice use of the theme. Well done.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story!
A fun little encounter. You had me hooked during the ambush but it then kinda lost the tenseness of the moment. Also, I really like it when stories work the theme in without having characters say it outloud but it was a good submission!
Thanks so much for taking the time to read my story! All good feedback, and I can’t help but think I had my “so what’re we, some kind of suicide squad?” moment in that final part but clearly couldn’t help myself. Great feedback for the future though.
