I have major soft spot for sympathetic, noble vampires so naturally I loved this entry. By using descriptions of senses beyond sight you've created a very vivid world, and then giving deGiaours' history within that world makes it come alive. Excellent work.
That was a great read! I liked how the story and setting felt uniquely OPR despite the small word count.
This was great. You have some descriptive writing. The only question is: can vampires cross running water in the OPR universe? I guess we don't know yet.
Really good flow on this one, and I liked the inversion of the vampire being the prey!
This is great. You really sympathize for the Count's plight. Funny, imagining some village downriver seeing his body on fire, facedown, floating by. Poor dude.
Great story, the world building was perfect and now I want to know more about the Havoc Wars!
Very well written and paced, v evocative of the time and place. It reminded me of the vampires in China Mieville's the Scar. It did seem quite long though but a really nice read.
Excellent story.
Good pacing, description and plot.
Congratulations!
Age of Fantasy is a gripping piece of writing. It flows off the page and into the imagination, pushing you along to read more. This sounds like a game that would bring you back countless times. What a compelling comment on the condition of man on earth. Thanks for your insight and brilliant writing!!
Perfect. There needs to be some good fantasy OPR writing like this.
Very gripping pursuit, even with the word count, it was easy to stay engaged, hoping for the Count. Great submission!
