The clarity of this piece is very impressive to me. You take a fundamentally disorienting premise - a battle, but during the battle things are being snatched out of time and devoured, and you've also got the Tt'arck hivemind you're playing with in the background - and you manage to display it to the reader in a clear, organized way.

I echo a lot of the other comments - there are enough wonderful turns of phrase in it that I don't really care about any flaws. It's just mesmeric and cool and I enjoyed it immensely.

Great concept. I want to read more of it.

Wonderful. I really enjoyed this, as it conveys a tone and a broad palette of emotion and style super well. I'm not especially bothered by what I don't understand; I really dig the lovecraftian strangeness.

To be honest, I'm not sure this fit the theme all that well, but I really enjoyed it nonetheless.  Kind of a Lovecraftian feel with  the final POV.  Good stuff.

Yup. I had the idea for the story before the theme was announced. Didn’t have enough time to come up with something different. Tried to fit the theme in, but I guess not very well. Still wanted to try and submit something, glad you enjoyed it.

Really interesting and a little mysterious. Not sure what you were going for with the ending but that might just be my limited mortal comprehension lol. This was lots of fun to read.

Developer

Thanks! It's intended to be weird and mysterious, though maybe I should think about how to communicate that more clearly.

Really well written, but I couldn't figure out how it tied into the theme at all. Not sure what I'm missing, but a delightful read nonetheless. Good luck.

Masterfully written. I am a little at a loss for where the theme is, though. If you point me to it, i will give it another read, but I don't see it. sorry.

Honestly, I saw they announced the jam and I had this idea. Then I saw what the theme was. Didn't think I'd have time to come up with another idea, so I tried to fit it in. But mostly I figured it'd be better to submit something than nothing at all. So yeah, it's light on the theme. Thanks for reading though.
