Great work

Really like how you portrayed the grim detachment to their work. Warrior monks in the worst way.

Nice! Well done.

As already stated by others,I enjoyed the way you conveyed the brainwashed mindset, trivialising the bloodshed as "just another day at the office". However, I will echo the other comment here in saying the theme felt a little tagged on at the end. I don't like offering changes to others' works, but I do think with a few tweaks, you could have made it fit better.  Otherwise, you convey the Battle Brothers narrative well, and I enjoyed reading it.

That was a great read, it made me curious where our Brother would go. The transition between introspection and action can be a little jarring at times but I also like how it somewhat trivialises the killing, to our protagonist it's just another Tuesday. Sadly, the theme felt a little forced at the end but it's a very compelling narrative nonetheless.
