- Your GDD is perfect. It seems to contain all the essential elements of planning needed to start building your game. To expand upon it, you could try collecting some reference images from your inspirations for art and adding a plan of tasks to keep up with throughout (if you're not already doing that somewhere else). The atmosphere of your game is great. The limited light horror is done well and the soundtrack and sfx really help to build the mood. I do however think that the monster was a bit too easy to keep on top of with the abundance of hiding spots and how far away you can see its glowing eye. You can also just run past it without dying. I also couldn't figure out how to recycle the metal. It made a sound when I was holding the box and hitting E but didn't do anything, this is likely either bugged or needs explaining further. It's good to see you doing in-world tooltips, but I'd like to see them used more. It took me a second to figure out that I needed to go left and hit E to open the first door to get started. Including the key to press in game rather than requiring a separate guide would be great. Overall, I wish I could've experienced more of the game. I think that fleshed out and more polished, this could be promising.

Summarize your game!
You are a pilot on a spaceship. You awake in the bridge to discover that the ship has been damaged and there is one other lifeform you detect on board. Your goal is now to repair your engines and fly home. This is meant to be a survival horror experience. You must run and hide from a single monster that is looking for you. Scrap the very lockers that provide your safety and use the resources to repair your ship.
Please explain how your game fits the theme.
The theme is fit in more of a story aspect. The player is the only survivor in a broken ship. Likewise there is only one monster. This provides both a duality between the player and the enemy, as well as provides a much greater lonely atmosphere.

dangit, my machine didn't like this one very much. i could only move left and right, and had limited control over the flashlight. i wish that wasn't the case, because it seems like there's a whole bunch i'm missing.
