Very beautiful and well crafted story, the art complemented the feel of the whole experience! I really enjoyed it quite a bit!
This is really good, its one of those games than goes to do something different, but in a good way.
Looking forward for more chapters
Nice work!
This is super-amazing. We read through the whole story and are quite intrigued and looking forward to the next chapter. The visual effects in the text work very well to enhance the reading experience. The story itself is also well written and captivating. The art is unique and charismatic. Best of luck continuing the story!
thanks! so glad to hear you liked it!
Interesting concept, I have never played anything like this.
I echo the thoughts of the previous comments: more interactive choices would be great.
i will definitely try to make the experience more interactive in future builds. thanks for your comment!
Amazing visuals and I've never seen formatting in Twine done this well! It's very narratively complex and thought out. The only note I have (and this is just my personal preference), would be giving the player more opportunities to "explore" the world, i.e. letting them look around a room or something like that. The puzzle section was good and I'd love if there were more sections that felt interactive like that.
But overall this is really really impressive. I got very invested in the storyline so I hope you keep working on it!
thanks for your comment! yeah i definitely think adding more interactive choices would be great, i'll see if i can do that without messing up the linear storyline.
It is always nice to see a story with somewhat lenghty descriptions and I liked a lot all de detailing and change in format when inspecting documents, the diary and even the additional descriptions about characters or topics after clicking on them.
Only missing feature for me was sound, but it is pretty solid overall. And more importantly, it is an interestingly written story.
Edit: For some reason this comment was posted three times after posting once, so if they show up, that is the reason.
thanks for you comment! i've got zero experience with making sound effects or adding a bunch of sounds in twine so that's why lol. i guess i would need some time to figure it out(and no worries your comment only shows up once)
hey i dont really know how to rank this as i havent really played these sorts of games but it's pretty interesting. In terms of art its good but i think you could add some sound effects for selecting white text or just moving on, it could just give a bit more life. Also lore wise i dont understand why the void is using teenagers to put into mechs, does not seem really that logical i think adults would make more sense. Plus there was mention that they use neural links in the mechs so i feel generally adults have a higher mental power but maybe theres some lore reason why. good game!
hi thanks for your comment! i’ll definitely think about adding sound effects—i haven’t tried that in twine before, but i’ll see if i can make it work. as for using teenagers as pilots, that was something i planned to explain in later chapters (though i probably should’ve done it earlier). really appreciate your helpful suggestions!
