Great art and gameplay this game had. One thing I feel would be to give some indication what the turret prices are worth. It got confusing for me. I did notice at times some weapon would fire but not be aiming at the right direction and if any orb damage hit the base, it would stay there so just wanted to point out those issue. Still interesting tower defense game you all made here.
Really fun and great visuals / UI. One gripe i had was i couldnt see the tower costs, but otherwise really cool. Im terrible at tower defense so i keep losing but the visuals are nice.
Enemy and turret artwork is alright, and weapon effects are also good.
For the gameplay perspective, I would say that the early game is too unforgiving for someone who wants to experiment different kind of starts, since it feels like there are too few correct answers to the first 3 waves.
For the second wave, you inmediately need at least 2 upgraded towers, and for the third wave you need a few upgraded + heavy turrets for the bigger enemies.
Right after the third wave, the funds gained are high enough to pretty much build/upgrade a lot of stuff all over the map and test strategies and leave room for experimentation.
I would say that the heavier enemies should appear a bit later, maybe on round 3 (the byped ones) and the heaviest on round 5-6 (the big spider-like things)
Other than that, while having had a few crashes out of nowhere and the lack of sound, it has potential, and encourage you to keep developing it.
Nice work, maybe I didn't get far enough but it felt like it was slightly lacking in the mech department. Unless the turrets are the mechs.
Solid bones of a game here! Some of the ui is confusing/buggy (if I click on a turret how do I make the panel go away? other than upgrading/selling). When placing a turret it lights up the squares you *can't* place it on and has no feedback on the ones you can, that seems a little backwards to me. Also unless I'm missing something obvious the cost of the new turrets isn't displayed anywhere. Some sound would also elevate this quite a bit!
Anyway the turret vfx are nice and the graphics overall are very pleasing. I hope yall keep developing this!
