This immediately hearkens to either iMUSE LucasArts around X-Wing in 1994 or, the same year Sid Meier's Colonization the 1500's 1600's 1700's pieces rendered in i think something similar to iMUSE but whatever their company instead-used for chiptune.  Just fits right into that groove.  Masterful use of pitchbending.

The progression was interesting, kept me hooked in. The "trumpet" was quite abrasive for me though, I had to turn the volume down for my ears, it was uncomfortable. Those fundamental waveforms can be very loud so just be cautious, they can sat lower in the mix and still pierce through. Cool composition still 🙂

thanks! i usually have my headphones at a lower volume so a lot of that stuff flies under the radar for me
