This is really cool! I like all the different percussion you used, and the instrumentation captures the desert well! I have some subjective feedback regarding the track, I get an ambient vibe for the track (which this is a really interesting ambient track!), but I am exactly not sure if you intended it to be ambient-like. I can go further on that point if you'd like me to, but overall what genre the track is doesn't matter much to me; I mostly just wanted to point it out just in case that isn't the direction you wanted to take with your music! This is still an incredibly cool track, and I enjoyed all the elements you've added into it! Glad you were able to make this despite not having much time! Nicely done

Thanks! Yeah I get what you mean, fair point! I see your track placed first overall, well deserved 😁

I hear a playful and unpredictable energy in this track that reminds me of an adventurous exploration. I find myself curious about where it’s going harmonically—there’s a tension that keeps me listening. The drums feel lively and expressive, though I personally experience the snare and rim shots as a bit sharp in the mix. Overall, I think it’s a creative and intriguing piece.

Thanks 🙂 I was kind of just sitting in the phrygian vibe and less focused on building chord progressions, so I think that's where the tension you're referring to is coming from; it kind of doesn't "go" anywhere in a more structured sense. And yeah quite possibly the rimshot/udu pings need to be dialled back a bit... I wanted them to cut through nicely but I didn't spend a ton of time mixing/mastering so it may be too much. Thanks for the kind words ✌️
