Absolutely stellar visuals, music, sound effects and gameplay. 5 stars all around.

Developer

Thank you!

Wow, everything presented here is just perfect for the theme. It lacks a bit of understanding at the start with the placement of the bonuses, but it's a very beautiful project.

Developer

Thank you so much

Yeah, I agree about the bonuses. Do you have any suggestions about what I could have done differently there? I realised a bit before submission that the way they work is probably too contrived (it does a non-backtracking drunken walk algorithm until it reaches a dead end and uses all the bonuses from the walk).

Game is really great, the controls are a bit daunting at first, and the upgrade system could be a bit upgraded (Lot of the time the upgrade goes on too fast on the square as i am still moving when i get it, so maybe have an additionnal key get it)
But overral a really solid game and a pleasant experiance

Developer

Thanks!

I can’t seem to reproduce the upgrade problem you mentioned. The game locks out (or at least is supposed to lock out) the A & D keys when you get an upgrade until you release them so that the thing you mentioned doesn’t happen. Does it just happen when you’re holding A & D?

Very polished game and well fitting theme, great job! Don't fully understand upgrades tho :V

Nice work, looks really cool

Listen, it’s addictive, I liked it, but I absolutely didn’t understand the principle of placing improvements and how they work. Otherwise, it’s not usual.
