Incredibly nice visuals. So impressed!

Thank you!

First and foremost, this looks awesome. I love the aesthetic. However, I do find the document a little difficult to read in some parts because of the stylistic choices made. Still, it's a cool entry--great work!

Thank you! I do agree, I think with more pages the content could flow better and be less compressed. The newest version makes the table at the end larger at least with bigger typefaces. I think a full version, perhaps by the time the December community print goes out, will be spread out more evenly across more pages.

Just made another updated version of the Realm packet (1.2a)- adding lots of things that I realized were mentioned in the text by name, but not mechanically, such as Zagan himself and his monks/bowmen. This also includes his 2 Legendary armaments (the Lightbow and The Last Shot) as treasure, the Arrow's Crown, a new section for the cultures of each possible Seat of Power, as well as a mini table to determine who wins that seat of power via a contest under Zagan's acolytes for fun idea generation. Finally, some grammar fixes and re-wording for clarity. Thank you all again for your support!

Just uploaded the newest version (1.1c)! It's now half the size, as the maps have been reduced, so the PDF should be much more optimized. Thank you to IsaacIsAfraid for pointing that out! I'm planning on doing more versions later as well with more content additions (such as Zagan's weapons, which I realized I forgot to add in from my design docs) for any who are interested.

Thank you for this!

You've made an epic realm! Something that I would play. I do believe that the PDF is unoptimized. The large size and it lags when I look at the map.

Developer(+1)

Oh yes, now that you mention it, I realize the maps are quite huge from when I printed them out at full resolution at very large scale - so that players could draw and use tokens on it at 1 inch per hex. I'll update the home page PDF to be more optimal!

Arcus Zagan II was the Emperor of the Holy Zaganite Empire. When he falls in battle, so too will his kingdom. His last effort as Emperor was to launch three mighty arrows in different directions. Where each Flèche (arrow) landed, a hold blossomed. And so, every few years, one of the three holds - The Three Seats of Flèche - compete to become the Seat of Power, with Zagan's acolytes relaying their choice from the weakened king up on his mountaintop castle.

The goal is to add more unique mechanics to places you can go, like the treacherous ever-cloudy mountains of Karkanosze, which has unique rolls you make for each fog tile you cross through, or the Fogfen, which you adapt to once you meet a seer. The main content right now is the Realm map (pre-labeled and un-labeled!) the mountains and stronghold of the Emperor Zagan, which includes a site map for his fortress - the Flèche Nock. There are seeds of adventure included, as well as interactions between where some of the landmarks are placed, and the Myths I randomly rolled from the base Mythic Bastionland book and re-written in context to the Realm. Of course, the integration is open-ended enough for you to re-use the map for any myths to see how they interact with the setting itself! This will be an ongoing project that I intend to add more stats/ art / design to / edit and test as time permits.

This Mythic Bastionland setting supplement features a homebrew campaign setting I played with my friends with art history inspiration, as well as games like Dark Souls, Elden Ring, Steve Jackson's Sorcery! and shows like Record of Lodoss War! I didn't have much time to put it together in time for the Jam, so it will be an ongoing project. I plan to add more layout, editing, and art too!
