How does your game fit into the theme?
My game fits into the theme, chain reaction, by having a system where every step the player takes, the countdown on each tile goes down by one, which means if you are not careful or aware of how you are moving, you might trap yourself, but if you follow the bigger countdowns, you will have an easier time scoring without worrying about the countdown. (My inspiration was mainly about how "Every step matters")

Simple mechanics, addicting gameplay. I had a highscore of 4100!

I think this game made me realize I have ADD lol

Great concept! It was a very easy game to pick up, but still required some thinking for each move. I was able to get to 5900 before the timer ran out.

Very creative and certainly fun to play. Though somewhat fitting chain reaction, it is hard to see it. I would personally suggest adding abilities such as skipping a tile, and additional hazards like a dragoon falling onto the board the longer you survive. Really make it chaotic to get that chain reaction theming. Right now the only thing to end it is the timer, as the game itself is easy to survive. It is certainly a very solid game. I am hoping you refine this into something more after the jam! Has a lot of potential!

Maybe I did not get the idea of the game, but I did not get what the theme fits in here much. It does makes sense based on the description, but it did not seem to translate much on the game itself - the numbers each turn seemed to be mostly random, save that to step into an 1 was you die next turn. Which to me kinda killed a bit of the brain-tease it seemed to be aiming for.

But I will assume this is a bug, or that I did not get the main idea properly. I can see how it was supposed to fit, and that to me matters too.

Super creative concept!  After realizing that you could step on the tiles that already have the crosshair, the game turned out really easy.  I think this game would really benefit from providing more feedback and game feel to the player.

Nice and easy game. We should be able to read the how to play guide all the time tho.

I like the concept a lot ! Very fun to play

surprisingly tricky! it took me a couple of attempts to figure out what the numbers meant even after reading the how to play, and not being able to go back and re-read it after seeing the gameplay didn't help in that regard

still very cool though! for such straightforward mechanics I really haven't seen a game like this before, very unique and a lot of room to expand on the concept too

Solid game. Had a hard time knowing if I could land on the '1' and 'Target' tiles or not
