Really looks awesome. It's very short, but impressive for 2 days of work. Good job!
It's great that y'all were able to get something submitted in such a short time span! If you end up revisiting the game and want to improve the gamefeel, I'd recommend looking at the Camera2D node's drag margins. They can be used to create a dead zone region for the camera where the camera won't move unless the player tries to go past the limits of that region. As of right now, your camera moves with every single movement that happens, which kinda makes it feel like the level is moving around the player instead of the other way around.
Good job and congrats on your first submission!
Love the graphics! It would be nice to develop it more in the future :) Good luck!
Hey! It's so awesome to see you two submitting stuff by yourselves.
Congrats on the submission! Loved the sound of the attack, and the visuals are great.
Really looking forward to seeing more from both of you in future jams. Awesome work and keep it up!
Well you weren't lying, it was short, but glad you submitted it anyway (completely understand time constraints of a week jam.)
I liked the graphics/sounds/music (intense feel), hope you can add to this in the future it is a great start
The art is very nice, and between that and the music, got chills of the first time I'd play a random game on the Sega Genesis back in the day.
I hope you and your dev partner get a chance to finish the game! Slow but steady wins the race. :)
Nice work! As others have mentioned, the wall collision is a little funky after breaking it, requiring one more shot. I like the art and creature quite a bit. A little more fleshed out jumping physics would help it feel a lot better. Good work!
Thanks for the feedback! We’ll keep working to improve!
If you add a bit more depth into the movement and maybe some more obstacles like harder jumps or enemies, it could become a really cool platformer. The art already looks really good, only real annoyance the game has is the lingering hitboxes of the pillars, but that's probably an easy fix to make. Really impressive for one person, I encourage you to work on it a bit more!
Thanks for the feedback! Actually, it was made by me and my friend Zanon-Dev. The original idea was to make the player some kind of metamorph that could turn into other critters with different mechanics. We just couldn't implement it in time due to work and university. We'll try to manage our time better in future jams!
Controlls were really good, and critter animation`s were perfect. But its really short, and when you break a wall, it`s collider stays for some time, before dissapearing. But i see the vision! Finish it after the jam so i can see the whole picture!
Glad you liked it! Yeah, it’s really short unfortunately, but we’ll do our best to improve it. Thanks for playing!
This was a fun start, though I wish there had been more. The critter's animations were really well done.
Hey, thank you very much for your comment. Unfortunately, we were unable to deliver much due to lack of time and experience.
Hey! Thanks for the feedback! We had tons of ideas for extra levels and mechanics but didn’t have time to add them. Hopefully we’ll do better in the next jam!
