Cute little game. Amazing that you did it in scratch!
It seems I ran into the issue that a few others had about the black box not working. I am on google chrome if that helps narrow anything down for you. Thanks for sharing your entry though!
The background music bothered me a bit but the rest of the game is charming! Cool submission
I was glad to see you submitted an entry! Nice use of the theme! I like the art for your characters. The controls are a bit hard to work. Maybe putting the controls on the UI could help with that. Good job!
I noticed some comments saying they couldn’t get the black boxes to work, but they worked fine for me. Nice little game and awesome music! I’m a super slow reader, so I missed a lot of the dialogue since it went by quickly... maybe in the future you could consider having the dialogue advance with player input. All in all, I thought it was charming, and I enjoyed the bonus mini-game!

I think there might be a bug? I can't continue anywhere from the first screen to find the person that needs my help.
Did the black box appear? You are supposed to step onto it and press any button to trigger the next area
I had the same issue, the black box did appear but I couldn't get the next area to load in. I do like the soundtrack and overall vibe though!
Yeah the black box appeared, but nothing happened when I pressed space or clicked :(
