Really like the gameplay - reminds me of the Fruity Maze minigame from pizzeria sim (same engine) The new level mechanic is cool but needed more content, could have really benefited from new powerups and enemies that could damage you. Love the UI design, feels very alive. Love how the music progresses after the flower blooms.
Very polised; but needed more content.
The game was created to simulate a limited Game Boy game, similar to how games back then were limited in arcade-style content. That's the essence of my game.
Definitely a fun idea, but I think it suffers from repetitive gameplay and unpolished controls, as said before. Still quite easy to get hooked, though.
Funny and simple game, really cool concept haha. I made it to level 12 and didn’t see much variation between stages, adding an ending and ramping up the difficulty would make it stronger for the jam. The difficulty curve wasn’t very noticeable, it mainly felt like the game just sped up. Still, it’s simple but effective, fun to play, and I really enjoyed the art and the chill music.
I gave the windows build a shot and it seems the screen issue I had on the html version was fixed which is awesome, And I really enjoyed game. Very cozy and relaxing and a good uplifting soundtrack through out. Very good work. I am so glad i gave this game a second chance
Thank you for DMing me
i like the nature-inspired gameplay, i do wish it was a bit more varied though as for the most part i would keep doing the same thing over and over, sometimes this isn't a bad thing but i think the gameplay is too basic here to warrant that, i also think the colors aren't great and i didn't even realize at first that the ui is supposed to be ui, maybe that's my fault for not reading it but i guess the moral of game-dev is to make the player's life as easy as possible :@)
i do like the music and how it can evolve depending on the game's state!
btw, you should select the "resize display to fill windows size" and "fit inside (black bars)" options in the application's properties if you want to embed the game without clickteam's own interface, glad to see another fusion dev!
I liked it. How many levels are there? I reached level 7 but I think it looked the same as level 6. Is it going as long as the worm is alive?
99 levels, More speed and enemies, the root is small and it is difficult to get away because you can explode quickly.
A funny idea, well executed. The art style is simple, but very effective! Overall, job very well done!
Thank you very much for your feedback!
Smooth and fun! A good little move n eat type game. The music was pleasant, and the way it 'synced' with my progress was a pretty cool touch. It did feel like the game would just sometimes... decide to kill me, though, by not spawning enough food. Cool little game!
Thank you very much for trying the game, you should consider visiting the roots of the plant to be able to dispose of all the feces hehe
Ahhhh! I missed that little tidbit.
Nice little game. I like the art and music, though the sprites could use a bit more contrast for my old eyes. The controls felt a little finicky, could use some smoothing out. I really liked the digestion bar at the top, very creative touch.
Very grateful to you for trying it! I hope you enjoyed it! ;)
