I like the concept! I think with a bit of polishing it could be really fun :)

Your art and choice of colour was very strong. Everything stands out that should even though it appears your using a similar hue.

this one does feel it could use a bit more time, but that is much of the joys of a GameJam

Definitely a nice idea — the only physics game I’ve seen in this jam so far — but it feels unpolished, especially with the lack of anything to bind the planks together. Some music would also be nice.

Simple and playful!!! But i think add an audio will boost the experience far more! Great submission! Play our game if you don't mind!

A beautiful game with interesting gameplay, although it's not my cup of tea. Also the anti-aliasing tends to create more than 2 colours so be careful in the future

This was awesome! My girlfriend in architecture school loves it. Art was great as well. All it's missing is some audio and I would love to see another material besides wood.

Thank you for the nice review, we are very glad that you liked it. During the development process, we planned to add work with sound, but due to the lack of a person in the team who could work with sound, we had to abandon them.

Really cool game! The art is sick and I love the building mechanic. Great job on adhering to the theme and making something fun and engaging :D

The theme of the jam came as an unexpected surprise to us. We thought too long about the interpretation of the theme in the game. We are glad that we hit the mark.

I managed to beat the last level. It was the game that kept me engaged the most so far; it was a lot of fun. I managed to build a structure and make several supports on it to withstand the rain of frogs, pine cones, and rocks.

wow, that's quite an achievement. Even from the game's development team, only one person was able to complete "Apocalypse". We can congratulate you.

At first I couldn't understand what I should do , as I couldn't balance the woods. But still the art was amazing and the idea was original

Beautiful art and really cool idea but I struggled to get my structures to hold up in place—more often than not I found them falling over during the building stage and killing off my plant right away. I might come back to this if folks leave tips on how to get started, as I didn't make it past the first round after numerous attempts.

Hi! Thank you for your feedback on the game. We're really happy to hear your thoughts!Struggling with building defenses early on is a common challenge. Mastering the core building mechanics definitely takes some time and experimentation.Based on our testing, a solid starting strategy is to create a structure in shape like "П" positioned over your plant. Anchor one side securely on the stone – this provides a stable foundation. You can then reinforce it with additional supports and adapt the structure as needed throughout the round.Apologies for the delayed reply – time zones got the better of us! We hope this tip helps, and good luck on your next attempt!
