Inconvenient but totally valid way for "One button". After spending 270 years in prison I finally nailed it (headphones helped as well). Good job!

Unique little minigame. I didn't understand the mechanic at first and immediately got sentenced to prison for 151 years. Once I'd checked the comments I cranked up my volume and discovered I'm actually cut out for a life of crime.

Unfortunately because I'd cranked up the volume I got well and truly jump scared by the fanfare at the end!

Thanks Ross, I appreciate it. Sorry 'bout the fanfares tho! :)

122 years! welp, that's it for me lol. Liked the little SFX and the visuals were nice :)

I like how you made the 'one button' idea your own! One thing I didn’t quite understand though: when I press E, the gauge doesn’t seem to stop right away, so I wasn’t really sure what was happening.

Developer(+1)

Thank you!

About the gauge - that's unusual. I had some troubles with collisions when making this minigame and I had to take some shortcuts and I think that's the issue.

Thank you for pointing that out and sorry for inconvenience.

It seems like a pretty interesting game, but for some reason I just can't hear whatever I'm supposed to hear, even with my volume at max. Not sure if it's my browser messing with the sound, or if I'm just missing something obvious...

Developer

Yeah, the difference is very subtle, that was the point. You need to listen carefully when hover above the buttons.  If you can hear city ambience and rain while walking down the street it should all be fine, if not - then there are some issues with browser sounds.  Out of a curiosity - what browser do you use?

I use safari. I gave it another try and I can hear the rain (although it's super quiet), but I kinda think the noise level in my office makes the other sounds impossible for me to hear. Sorry I couldn't give it a more thorough attempt :(

It took me a minute to get the concept because my volume was too low, but after that it was great. I liked the shadows on the ground when you walk in front of the lit windows.

Developer

Thanks, I really appreciate it!

Stealing has never been so easy, hahaha, good job. I feel like it needs a good suspenseful melody.
