Themes
We loosely used the Left Behind theme to explain why Ghosty wants to play catch.
Team
I worked with my husband, Michael, who created the fantastic pixel art. :)
Jam
This was our first jam (and first game), and it was a lot of fun! We chose this jam because the low resolution made it feel more approachable for us to create all the assets ourselves. Thank you so much for hosting!

A simple but addictive game which really forces you to think creatively and focus. The artwork is fantastic. I think it could have been improved with a cheeky or ghostly audio track.
I played through the first four levels, but I'm not 100% sure I understand how to play. It felt like there was an invisible path that weaved through each image that I needed to discover by moving the mouse and observing the ghost's expression - but it was never exactly clear if there were other clues to follow. I like the idea a lot - but if there was a consistent solution or expected approach, I didn't find it 👻The art looks great!
Cute! But at the second level, I didn’t understand how to catch him, he’d smile only for a split second. :(
He's a quick little bugger! Cute game!
The pixel art is very successful, it really gives a nice atmosphere to the game... on the other hand, I completely miss the gameplay, I don't understand the trick to stop him sticking his tongue out and catch him...
Very cute game! I specially like the background art, the scenarios look beautiful. The gameplay is a bit simple, but still fun, and the last level took me a while to figure out! i hope you guys continue your journey as game developers <3
