I would never ask why I would want 24 new Myths. I want them all!!!
This is a colossal tool for the community. Excellent myths with a variety of realm-wide implications. I appreciate that some myths feel a little weird and benign while others warp reality and ask the players at the table how would you navigate this new world? A note for GMs to go over the myths before implementing as your realm may never be the same after they come of age.
Thanks for the kind words! I wanted myths that could really shake things up, so I agree with the advice to read them over first.
There is so much packed into this entry.
The myths are varied and all quite interesting (personally, my favourites are the hourglass, the bazaar, the magister, and the signpost). Each myth offers evocative tables. Please let m know if there is a version with the sparks at the bottom of each myth.
Note: i am not sure if this was intended, but the table in The Sunken and The Succubus are the same, so just letting you know! (in the Myths only file at least).
great work!
Ha! Thanks for letting me know about the table, I guess I missed that somehow. I didn’t make a version with sparks at the bottom of each myth, but maybe I’ll add those in the future. Thanks for the kind words!
More Myths! I love all the different vibes and flavors these Myths have. My favorite is The Count! You can never go wrong with a Vampire story!
Thanks for the kind words!
There's so much here! A tremendous amount of work. As in the main book, part of the fun is looking at a series of microfictions.
One benefit of having so many entries is that there is room for both quiet (The Magister) and explosive (the Tempest) Myths, which lends texture to the collection. My favourite in the collection has to be the Colony, for its weirdness, and the ambiguity of it utility to the Company.
If I were using these at my table I'd be careful to look over the myths closely before running them, as some have uneven pacing or could be challenging to bring to the table.
Thanks for the kind words!
