Heyy, I tried the game, but couldn’t understand how to pass the 1st level, can you elaborate on what you mean by right bumper to halt?

Turns off the magnetic force pulling you up, briefly. For a period of time, you can walk freely in any direction, 360°, even sharp angles. So functions like a jump would in a normal platformer but doesn't quite work or feel the same.

It was fun getting to play this with a controller and try it out. I spent a lot of time with it and found it really challenging. I discovered lots of magnets but didn’t manage to beat it. I might give it another go since it was quite fun. Well done!

Thank you for playing my game and giving me feedback! Did you get stuck on an area, or become lost and not sure where to go? Admittedly the layout can get a bit confusing as you progress, even for me who designed it. I'm working on a in-game map feature that I will update it with after the Jam is over. Glad you had fun!

Yes, I got confused on where to go next.  I had changed the magnetic force a few times and ended up back at the beginning where there's a spot that seems like you need to be going -> to pass it.    The place I'm talking about had a battery magnet.

That particular room has three exits, but the exit with the battery requires you unlock the Super Magnet for east magnetism. Now that the jam is over, I've uploaded an updated version of the game with a comprehensive map that should make exploring more fun and less confusing so its easier to find where you need to be going. Also touched up on a ton of stuff, art, sound design, etc. If you ever decide to give it another try, it should be a bit more intuitive and accessible this time :)

This was an interesting take on the theme! The gravity mechanics was a cool idea and it seemed to work okay for the most part. There was definitely a lot of hassle getting the physics to cooperate though while playing lol Thanks for sharing your game!

I'm curious, could you elaborate on the physics problems you were having? I'm unaware of any physics bugs(I very well could have missed something), I'm wondering if there were mechanics I didn't tutorialize well enough. Also, were you able to complete the game?

Not sure if it was intended but when hugging walls, I was able to go pretty much anywhere I wanted as long as I mashed the gravity button. The gravity button didn't always fire when I expected it too. I got to machine N (at least I think that's what it was) and turned on it's power. After that I just struggled too much to make any more progress.

Aahh, darn. Not intended. It was caused by a last minute bug fix so I never noticed it before uploading. It's fixed now but can't be updated until jam is over. Thank you for playing my game though!
