A cozy little game, definitely something I could see myself playing for hours. The hummingbird seems a bit out of place; you get almost no mileage out of it, compared to the butterfly, it’s more situational and almost always worse. The music gets a bit repetitive after a while, and it could use a bit more visual polish. All that aside, this is a great idea for a game, which I would love to see expanded on.

This is really nice, with the addition of a tutorial and some good audio feedback I think it could become a great little time waster!

Thanks for playing!

Is a very good game, I like the art and the original idea of match flowers and synergys of them. At the start is a little bit confusing, there is a lot of information, a tutorial or introducing a plant or insect at each level would have been better (in my opinion). I think the leadeboard it's a great way to make the game replayable, and it's a great achievement to have added it in such a short amount of time. Congratulations, very good game!!!

By the way, you have my humble game here if you want to try it too ;

Developer

Thanks for the kind words and for the feedback!

Really impressed!, it’s quite a difficult game. This doesn’t mean it isn’t fun, but since the learning curve starts off very steep, it would be better to go by levels, where new plants/insects are introduced little by little. (art 5, music 4)

Developer

Thanks! Will definitely look into a way to introduce the mechanics more gradually :)

I liked it, it's a good game! Maybe a tutorial would be a great addition to it.

Developer

Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the feedback :)

Loved the idea to be able to compete with others and try the level as many times as you want. Great job on the art also. Though I find it a little hard to understand what the items exactly do and how to use them best, so maybe a tutorial would bring this game to another level. Overall well done!

If you find the time to play our game too, I would appreciate it!

Thanks for playing! A tutorial is definitely a good idea.

I really liked it! good game c: I just noticed the scoreboard was bugged.

Easy to understand, but hard to master! That’s a great balance to have in a game. It really rewards players who take the time to learn the patterns and adapt their playstyle in order to score higher, which makes mastering the game very satisfying. The overall balance feels well thought out, and the art style together with the music creates a nice harmony that fits the gameplay perfectly. With more practice, I can see this being a very addictive experience.

Thanks so much!

The sprite art looks great, and the black and yellow you chose fit the game really well, giving it a more chill vibe, especially with the bossa nova music. I actually thought about using black and yellow in my own game because of the bee, but it didn’t feel like a good match. In your game though, the colors fit the vibe perfectly. Really nice idea and very well executed, great job!

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

A simple and good game, I enjoyed it. Although the leaderboard was a little bit bugged

Developer

Glad to hear you liked it! Thanks for pointing out the leaderboard bug. probably should have tested it a bit more haha

Love all the sprites!

the art is amazing and i wonder how did you managed to make it using only 2 colours

Developer

Thanks so much! the two color restriction was def tough for me, I ended up having to use a higher resolution than I was used to for my sprites to get the detail I wanted :)
