very unique idea, an incremental snake game. at the start I had no idea what I needed to do, but after a while that didn't seem to matter as I was hooked going upgrade after upgrade. needing to press spacekey/mouse was a bit weird though, I feel like you could have mapped that to the movement keys instead.

Best game ever. Really liked it, although I got super frustrated when after almost maxing out speed and size, I had problems getting after the first ant. But I made it! fun game! well done.
maybe I missed it, but some information on how to “beat” the insects would be nice. I tried to eat them from behind or above at first…. until I realized they just have to be off screen.
This was a really cool game. The colors, art, music and sound are all great. I found the beginning was a bit slow, and I never really understood how to deal with the bugs on bridges. It seems like you just need to get off screen before they come back for you?
Either way, really good job on this. It’s fun, unique, and well polished.
Very well done. I really liked the game, and it’s a really novel take on the theme. I had a lot of fun playing it. One thing I would change is how difficult it is to evade bugs; sometimes, you’re just stuck between one bug and another that are out of phase, and you can’t really get from one to the other fast enough, or you’re speeding along and hit a bug… it’d be nicer if you had a few extra hit points (or make that an upgrade in its own right!) All in all, though, this is a solid game. Good job.
(I think there’s a hint of a third color on some of the progress bars… not a big deal, though.)
Such a neat concept and implimentation! Initially the formula seemed super promising, unfortunately my brain instantly optimized the "incremental game" part, kinda trivializing it by just spamming the "money up" upgrade until I had everything. At that point, all that was left is the climbing game portion, which was still novel enough to be quite fun, but the finickiness of the controls coupled with the unreliable nature of "offscreening" enemies kept me from finishing it.
The idea here is really solid, and everything blends together well. It's rare to see a game with an incremental component that really "feels" like growing in some way. The visuals and music are very well done also. I think something to clarify a bit better when an enemy is far enough away to not hurt your stem would be good, or maybe leaning more into that system in general. Perhaps off-screening an enemy actually "kills" it, because the most frustrating way to die in the game was when I would overshoot, backtrack a bit, and then die because an isopod came back onscreen in a bad spot.
Excellent game, one of my favorites in the jam for sure!
My plant keeps reaching the bridge and it just blooms and fall..
I dunno how should I progress really.
Otherwise great art.
Very fitting to the theme and well designed. After a while it started to feel a bit aimless for me, but overall it was really fun. Nice job!
I enjoyed this game a lot, it was rough trying to control the plant through all the narrow corridors towards the end but otherwise I had no complaints

The music and sounds and art are great! The only feedback I have is that at the start it takes a bit too long to really get good progression, and by the end it just becomes hard to control because of the size and how easy it is to bump into things. Still, it’s a great game, well polished and fun
