Haha, I never really put myself out there until recently, too, so I know that feeling very well.
But I really like your submission! Interesting ideas, I will definitely implement some into my home game. I hope you keep going!
Thank you! I already have some other ideas cooking...
Congratulations for creating this and putting yourself out here! I do hope you get to finish this one and do more works! I gotta say that I like the Knights and Myths that you've made!
Thank you! I love yours too, especially the art! What a wonderful art style.
I noticed you were worried since this was your first time publishing a design publicly, but you did a good job :) Congrats on getting yourself out there and challenging yourself, even if you didn't get to the Myths like you'd hoped. Just means you've got something for next time to try!
Thank you! It was a bit daunting but I'm proud of what I managed to make. It did actually include 5 myths! I had just hoped to make 13 because of the magic around that number. I'm still working on the rest and will release them all with (probably public domain) art at some point.
Sorry, I was unclear. I meant to all the ones you wanted to get.
Sounds great to me, I hope you have fun making the rest and will keep exploring designs while publishing on Itch. It can be a lot of fun and very rewarding :)
Fantastic work.
There is a lot to love here: sparks on each page (even the intro and the blank page!), omens that are evocative and not immediately and obviously consequential to each other (in the spirit of the examples in MB, imo, and what i search the most in a myth), no images, so they are print ready and i kinda can collage something in the spaces left blank, the poems, knights that can't wait to play as, pondering on the possible implications of the disappearance of bells. 12/10
I hadn't considered that having no images might have any positives, but you're right! This way a GM or Player could add their own picture without feeling like they're reducing the concept. Thanks for your review! :)
It includes the Seers for the Knights as well! Great flavor and excellent writing/formatting. Could easily see these alongside those in the book. A great resource for anyone who's managed to run low on new and exciting options for their players ;)
I endeavour to run out of Knights and Myths myself... I take it as a challenge! Hopefully this doesn't mean a massacre in the near future... :D
