Hello! I'm Maxacre (or Max) and I'm a mostly solo-dev developing a game called A Writer's Muse, which is a cross between an RPG Maker Horror Game, a visual novel, and a dating sim. I am doing the majority of all the other work, but I am in search of a music composer to compose some background tracks for my game! 

The position would be purely volunteer, but you will of course be credited for your work in the credits. I also have hopes in the future to publish the full game to steam when it is done in the distant future, possibly for a price other than free (still deciding), so please keep in mind that if you decide to help write some tracks, you will be credited for your work but will not be repaid for it if I choose to go this route. 

Here's a little about the game: 

A Writer's Muse is a RPG Maker Horror/Visual Novel/Dating Sim Game where you play as a writer plagued by a lack of inspiration, which you can only quell by taking a trip to the small town of Roosevelt and meeting the friendly and sweet-- sometimes teasing--Theo, who runs a humble coffee shop in town. He seems like the most caring man you've ever met, but the more you talk to him... the more you wonder could there be more to his bubbly demeanor than you previously thought?

 ...And there are the whispers of the townsfolk, the dead birds outside your window, the sometimes deathly silent wood...

 In the crease of the valley, with one railroad leading in, and the same one leading out...

 You are here to stay. Together, will you complete your magnum opus, find love, or will you bite off more than you can chew?

 I'm hoping for more 8-bit style music for the game so if you have examples of music like that, send them over-- not a requirement though!
