I'm so surprised this jam hasn't got more entrants! I've only officially joined the jam today as I wasn't sure I would get my game finished in time (I'm still not sure lol!) but considering there's a free course being generously offered for all submissions I would have expected so many more. Anyway, thanks for putting on the jam Penny :-)

I just (finally) got mine submitted! ... and I'm wondering the same.

well at least with so few entrants, everyone will get a good chance to have their game played by a few people at least so hopefully none will get "lost in the system" as can happen in the bigger jams, like the GameDev.tv one!

Discoverability is a big issue with larger jams which is why I only like to participate in those where someone might actually find and play your game. I expect more entries to get submitted over the last few hours. I'm finishing up and submitting mine today which won't be as finished as I had hoped but also games can be worked on at a later date with bug fixes and updates :)

I've also noticed that the Brackeys jam is starting in the next day, so perhaps a lot of people are planning to enter that one and don't want to do two back to back so that could have played a part in the low numbers.

Yeah not sure but was fun to do and see everyone’s entries.
