Great take on the theme!
Looking at my poor motor skills, I felt rushed as the anxiety bar kept filling up!! Lol!
The cats are cute and the expression on lady's face are ... anxious!
And when the meter is full she just spins! Loved it! Lol!
The game feels like it has just the right balance of visuals to make it appealing, but not too much to distract from game play. At first I thought the player moved too fast, but once getting used to the controls I realized the speed was necessary in order to obtain cats before the anxiety meter reached it's maximum.
That rush to find the last cat in a wave of spawns gives me anxiety!
this is a really fun highscore-game. On my first attempt I got 27 cats and on my second only 13. So it is highly dependent on rng luck, where and how many red chocolates spawn. On my second attempt there were only purple chocolates and the anxiety-meter's speed increases very quickly with those. So it is a fun little challenge. On my final attempt I got to 30 cats. The music is nice but it doesn't loop. By the time you get your 20th cat you are playing in silence.
The controls took me by surprise! Once I got used to them it was an entertaining experience :) I like the animation on the main character and of course I like eating chocolate
I like this game. It has a retro feel. It took a while to get used to the twitchy controls and the speed boost chocolate actually makes things harder XD. Overall very well made with excellent mechanics that implement the theme well.
