This was a pretty fun game! The setting felt almost like Luigi's mansion. Killing enemies and collecting cobwebs was simple but engaging. The "avoid a paradox" mechanic also seemed original and interesting and I wonder if it could be fleshed out more (using past selves as "workers" to clear up the dungeon/ mansion)

Fun game. I like the theme and 3D entries are always cool. I wish the waiting to respawn mechanic had a function to speed up time, though it might only be a problem for me because I waited in the starting room to test out the controls. Also in firefox it opens in a new window that isn't constrained to 64x64.

Developer

Thank you for the kind words !

I struggled a bit on how to handle the reintroduction of the player in the timeline yes x)

I know about the firefox issue (but thanks for pointing it out !), but I do not know why it does this

The 3D and time travel mechanic is impressive although on my setup, it took quite a while to respawn after dying, also the game froze for a few seconds on the browser when you first encounter and kill a particular mob.

I found the key in each of the two runs and I feel killing the mobs was the main part of the gameplay, it would be great to see it fleshed out and see the paradox mechanic affect the gameplay if this were to be developed further.

Developer

Mmmh good to know about the freeze

Yeah the key is a bit "too easy" compared with the other conditions and is not very integrated with the rest of the mechanics x

Thank you for the feedback !!

Good job, I liked the pixel art as well as the camera movement.

Developer

Oh ! thank you !

I was completely hopeless at combat but did manage to win by avoiding the monsters. The idea of Time Travel Paradoxes is brilliant, I love it!

Developer

You are not alone for the combat, I did not balance it properly x)

Thank you !

Combat is a little difficult but I love this game.

Thank you fellow penguin xD

I like the idea of this game. But I rarely made it past the first room or two because of the difficult combat. It's hard to tell when an enemy is within striking distance, and since they one-hit-kill you, it was hard to get far. Congrats on finishing! :D

Developer

mmmMMMhhhh I hear you x) For the next game I ll keep it in mind, thank you !

The production is really successful. It moves really well and reacts well. The animations are cool, especially the moving lamp. The enemies don't jump on you and that gives you time to react. I don't know if it's useful to have the three different attacks, wouldn't it be nicer to focus on exploration and thus add a little variety to the layout of the rooms.

Thank you for the helpful feedback x) If I expand on it, going toward more exploration is a good idea !
