You’ve built a good starting prototype. The core idea needs more polish, especially in controls and rewards. Try focusing on smoother movement and adding small achievements or sounds to make the game more engaging. Every great game starts as a prototype this can grow a lot with more time!

There's a lot to be desired here. 

It would be best to have some kind of graphics, because visually, there is absolutely nothing that I find appealing here. Mechanically, there is basically nothing interesting going on apart from being a below-standard platformer.

My advice for joining and building games for game jams is not to be afraid to use template projects and free asset packs.
