I like odd'ish rythms used, do be getting those tribal'ish vibes away from civilization. But imo it just gets a bit stale, a bit of variations/development surely needed especially when all u have is percussion. Still verygj

Nice ambient/exploration kind of track. It is repetitive, but I don't think in a bad way, more like meditative (which fits the mystical kind of vibe you were aiming for). Perhaps just a little subtle variety in the percussion would have made it sound more intentional than just a repeated loop? I think if it was humanised just a little it would be perfect for what you were going for. Not meant as a criticism, it did work for me but just an idea for improvement ✌️ I got the sense of dusk turning to night with the crickets at the end.

Thank you man, glad you liked it. Not taken as a criticism but as a matter of fact there is some variation and randomness (in velocity, panning and triggering/not triggering of notes) in the percussions throughout the whole song even though it's clearly slight and the main percussion loop is the one with less variation (the other two less prominent loops have some more variation).

Maybe I didn't pick up on it and need another listen, but it was the main percussion loop I was specifically referring to. Didn't affect my enjoyment of the track, was just an observation, and happy to be proven wrong 🙂

Nicely captured theme with a touch of mystery! The ambient layers feel a bit heavy in the low end – a gentle high-pass filter could help lighten the mix and bring out more clarity.

Thank you man, that is a great suggestion!

A very percussive track, with a quite ambient mysterious melody setting in later. Overall quite mystical as you said in your description. Maybe something tribal going on. Overall very repetitive, which can be nice and relaxing. Nice ending with the crickets setting in, maybe nighttime started? I like it

Thank you for your comment, glad you liked it! And yes, that’s exactly what I wanted to convey with the crickets. At first, I even thought about adding a sample of someone saying “good night" lol
