Super cozy! Loved seeing little critters appear and take residency, especially the birbs!

The terraforming was my favourite aspect, reminded me of carefully selecting the right proportion of elements in zoo tycon type games, it seemed tricky as the animals require different biomes at first but apparently they just stick around regardless of changes.

I think the game itself could explain things a bit better, as I had to go back to the description to learn stuff midgame. The initial animals appeared slightly offscreen which made their requirements a bit more confusing to understand. Also really liked the day/night cycle.

Lots of room for potential, especially with more areas and more creatures/plants.

I didn't want to stop playing, this was so lovely. It was fun figuring out the different mechanics, growing some plants, and creating a landscape. The music was so relaxing I could listen to it forever, and the art is so cute.

I ran into overcrowding problems and all the animals would start to get stuck, after a while.

All the animals want to join, but no one wants to leave. As far as I could tell there was no way to remove animals, even when I took away everything they loved and destroyed their homes and flooded their entire habitat.

I was hoping in another run to be able to curate which creatures came in to begin with, maybe get all butterflies or something, but no one wanted to join my island paradise and I realized the progression was pretty strictly gated .

So I added some more land, and then EVERYONE wanted to join my island paradise.

Great project, all it needs is to be able to get more play time out of it!

The game is so relaxing and critters are so cute. It reminds me a bit of Viva Pinata.

We very intentionally from the start referenced Viva pinata. :)

Thank you for playing!

The art is amazing and I loved terraforming the garden! I would have loved if there was a menu that keeps track of the critters that you've collected so far and other critters that have yet to be unlocked. The music and sound effects really added to the cozy vibe!

This game is such a vibe. The character design of the various critters is great, it really feels like an ecosystem in a far away forest you are entering. Love the maudlin feel throughout, the music is excellent. Very clear vision and unique gameplay point of view. Loved it throughout, well done. Only thing I didn't really get is what the items in the shop did when you bought them? Here's the animal situation I ended up with:

Thank you for playing the game, and your kind words about it!
I think one of the main things we didn't do well was actually communicating to the player what to do... DOH!
The box button on the tool bar is your inventory, where the items you can buy form the shop go, you can select them from here and place them into the garden.  :)

I love the creature designs! ⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡ The turtle with the flower butt? head? is such a silly little guy.

Such a relaxing atmosphere~<3 I'm fond of games that aim for any kind of environmental simulation. A pretty ambitious project for a ten-day jam, but your team pulled it off well! If I could endlessly grow my virtual garden, I'd probably keep playing this for a very long time :' )

The pixel art is really nice! Love the critter designs. We found the gameplay loop a little confusing at first, but the concept is very cool. The music and sound effects are well-done, very relaxing!

The game art is so cute and the audio is so relaxing, i love the various critters you added in the game, but sometimes the critter would be on the top of the screen its hard to see what they need, but other than that, this is an amazing game, great work :>

Had a lot of fun but at some point there were just so many critters I didn't know what else to do!!

Love the concept! The garden gets prettier and prettier the longer you wait. Great job!
